Premier Scott Moe made quite a remark today about Ivermectin. I mean he's free to call it a horse dewormer if he likes but he should have to, at least, explain against what you are about to read.
This comes from Dr Pierre Kory, who has absolutely nothing to gain from promoting Ivermectin (I could be wrong, so please point out whatever it is to me so I can stand corrected). Here are Dr. Kory's qualifications (not a social media quack that Moe is telling you to quit listening to):
In 2002, Kory graduate University with an MD and completed residency and fellowship training in critical care and pulmonary medicine.[4] He did clinical rotations at the Weill Cornell School of Medicine.[4]
Kory first practiced in Madison, Wisconsin, at UW Health, which is the academic medical center at the University of Wisconsin. He served there as the medical director for the Trauma and Life Support Center, in the outpatient pulmonary medicine clinic, where he performed bronchoscopic and pleural procedures.[4]
Kory is an expert in critical care ultrasonography. In 2015, along with his two co-editors, Kory won the British Medical Association's 2015 President’s Choice award in medical textbooks for their work on Point of Care Ultrasound.[4]
Kory was the critical care service chief at the UW Health University Hospital (part of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health) until May 2020. He later joined Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before becoming a locum tenens physician.
Unlike all the people ordering you around for the last, almost, two years - Dr Kory has treated many Covid patients and worked in some of the busiest hospitals in the United States during the first wave in 2020.
Here are his comments (from a September 22nd podcast I listened to last night):
There are many reasons to oppose Ivermectin. The World Health Organization is well documented to be under the influence of the pharmacuetical industry (those who make money off vaccines).
The vaccines are dependant on there being NO effective treatment for the disease. If you have a treatment, the EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) has to be rescinded. The list of financial interests that would be smashed because of this is very long.
Merck and Pfizer want to bring their oral anti-viral treatment to market. If Ivermectin is already in the market, they have no market. The system is built around for-profit medicine and there is no pathway for non-profit medicine to be successful. (Ivermectin, by the way, is a cheap repurposed drug that is proven to be extremely safe). There is really no money to be made on it.
There is a state in northern India that has 241 million people. They adopted Ivermectin over a year ago and used it as a preventative for their healthcare workers. They discovered that almost none of them got sick. So they then put Ivermectin into a policy for it to be used in early treatment for those who get Covid but also as a preventative for the close contacts of those who got Covid. They embarked on a massive public health contact tracing program whereby they went to homes of those people who returned positive tests and gave Ivermectin, not only to the person who was sick, but also to other people in the home who are contacts.
Using this strategy, they did incredibly well and had some of the best numbers until April/May of this year. What happened around that time was 3 million migrant workers fled to this particular area of India to avoid impending lockdowns and there was an immediate surge of cases. Public Health then went to bus stations, train stations, and other well known points of entry and were able to extinguish the surge. They've continued with this policy and program ever since.
Data is now being shared and what has happened is that they've eradicated Covid. In mid-September they revealed their most recent 24 hour test results and they conducted 225,000 tests and uncovered 11 positive tests. That's, effectively, 0. The prior two weeks saw 2.6-million tests and only 201 positives. Again. Effectively 0. There are 75 Districts in this northern Indian state and 65 of them have no Covid at all. The vaccination rate in northern India is 5% fully vaxxed.
Maybe Dr Kory is full of it. But he's a very well qualified medical professional with nothing to gain and everything to lose by pushing, what Moe calls, 'horse dewormer'. Who do you believe? Dr. Kory and these quotes I'm sharing or the Saskatchewan Premier who told you to take 'the first vaccine offered to you'? Those of you who got a jab of Astra-Zeneca probably remember that. Do you believe the Saskatchewan Premier who calls the vaccines 'very safe and very effective'? We are seeing news stories now the 'effective' is over after about six months and I"m not arguing over 'safe' but Sweden and Denmark shut down Moderna to those under age 30 yesterday. The podcast I got these quotes from is called The Truth with Lisa Boothe. If you want me to share it, let me know.
SCOTT MOE or DR. PIERRE KORY?
Govt says they take their info from science. If this was a real pandemic, would the Dr. S not work together, talk, listen to each other to come up with a safe treatment., vaccine. People should do their research and not just listen to our incopitant, blind leaders.
It’s always about the money! Maybe Scott Moe doesn’t sell Ivermectin at HIS pharmacy?!!!!!
