Obviously I have opinions but this isn’t an article where I express them. I am hoping to provoke thought and I’d love to hear from you on what some of your answers are…and I’m talking to people on both sides of the political centre. They are just questions and in no real organized order.
How are we allowed to have a Greenpeace radical, who scaled the CN Tower and who climbed onto the roof of a former Alberta Premier’s home to install a solar panel and terrorize the Premier’s wife as the federal Environment Minister? Is it a stretch or unreasonable to suggest this man is incapable of balance or listening to both sides of an environmental argument?
Is it possible that BOTH of these statements are correct: Donald Trump is a juvenile and guilty of breaking his own free trade agreement that he made with Canada. Canada has a fentanyl problem both within its borders and through exporting to other countries.
If you don’t believe Canada has as fentanyl problem, why is it a bad idea to still make improvements so that we ensure that we don’t have a fentanyl problem?
If more money than ever before has been spent on trying to fix drug abuse and homelessness problems, why do we continue to just spend more money and utilize the same strategies only using more money yet we see more homeless people and more drug addicts?
Do you believe in putting people in control of their own lives, even if it means they have no skills of survival and will fail and, perhaps, even pass away from drug abuse or homelessness?
Do you believe the government has saved more lives than it has destroyed over the last 20 years?
If you lived in a home and left the window open all winter and just paid more money to heat the home but never closed the window, would the problem fix itself by spending more money through cranking up the heat but leaving the window open?
Do you remember a time when major Canadian cities (even smaller ones ) didn’t have homeless people out in the open for all to see?
Is it okay for Elon Musk to conduct a thorough review of American federal government departments? If your answer is NO, do you think federal government departments need an audit? If you do, who should be the one tasked with doing it?
Is it okay for us to get our medical advice from Bill Gates? Is your answer to this question consistent with your reasons for answering the question about Musk doing a government audit?
Should Canada have an unelected Prime Minister?
Should Canadians pay Members of Parliament and their staffs a full wage when they are prorogued?
Do you know what prorogued means?
Should Canada welcome people from other countries to come here and live when we don’t expand our healthcare capacity or our education capacity? Are you being a good person when you accept a lesser education or your child or failed healthcare for you or your family member in the name of ‘saving’ a person fleeing another country who also ends up coming here and suffering the same fate as far as education and health coverage is concerned?
Are you okay with spending a lot of your hard earned money on healthcare and then finding out people are dying in hallways of hospitals? Do you wonder where the money goes? Are you silent on these issues or they don’t matter?
If I stole 30% of your money and you watched me let it blow out of my hand and into the wind and out of sight, would you be mad? Would you be more mad if I stole it and used it to improve my own lifestyle?
Can you name an entity that ANY level of government in Canada controls or is responsible for and proclaim it to be better than if it was run by a private company/corporation/citizen? If you can’t, why are we allowing governments to control more of our lives? If you can, please let me know and provide an example of how you know it’s better.
Do you believe mainstream media to be more reliable than ‘new’ sources such as X or independent outlets like Rebel News, The Western Standard, Sam Cooper, Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, etc.?
Is it possible that all forms of media have a political angle they are playing whether it be Rebel News representing a conservative perspective or CBC representing a federal government perspective?
Is it harder than ever to determine what is the truth and are you capable of rejecting your political idol or accepting the politician you most closely align with as lying to you?
Do you think a person who thinks differently than you is evil or wrong or incorrect or stupid? Do you believe that because they are wrong, they should be forced to believe what you do or be punished for believing what they do?
Do you believe it’s up to the government to determine free speech? Do you believe it depends on who the government is when it comes to trusting them to make these decisions?
Do you believe social media platforms like Facebook should have to pay content creators for their work? If the answer is yes, do you think you have the right to submit an article to a newspaper, like the Globe and Mail, and do you think they should be forced to publish it and pay you for it?
Do you forgive Canadian governments for making huge mistakes during Covid because it was a pandemic and nobody knew what to do or what was the right way to govern? If you do forgive a government for their actions, can you specifically site where this government apologized for what they did?
Do you understand why a small local business who may have a handful of customers in the store at a time was forced to close during Covid but major American department stores were allowed to operate with hundreds inside shopping? If so, can you comment so those who don’t can better understand?
Do you hate the Freedom Convoy? If so, can you explain why and give examples as to why and show that the information you are providing isn’t a lie?
If you support the Freedom Convoy, can you also also explain why and gives examples that completely debunk the narrative they were so bad that bank accounts were frozen, not only of those participating, but of those who donated and did not participate?
Should bank accounts ever be frozen and if so, do you believe that your money is actually the government’s money and they are just good enough to let us keep it?
If one’s bank account is a result of criminal activity such as human trafficking or drug dealing should it be frozen? If so, should it be frozen before or after a guilty verdict in court? If it’s before and the accused is found ‘not guilty’, was it okay to still freeze the money?
Do you think Jeffrey Epstein’s client list should be revealed to the general public, as long as it doesn’t identify victims of child sex abuse?
Do you wonder why Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell went to prison but none of their clients have been charged? Did you know Maxwell is guilty of trafficking girls but nobody on the receiving end of that trafficking has ever been charged? Is it possible the person on the receiving end of getting the girl to abuse is actually a victim too?
Have you seen stories or commentaries on mainstream media suggesting a cover-up on the Epstein/Maxwell case? Have you seen stories or commentaries explaining why keeping the identities of their clients secret and not charging any of them is best?
Do you believe that people born as males but transition to females should participate in female sports? If so, why have we not seen elite males, who were born females, competing in male sports? Do you believe it just hasn’t been reported, but it’s likely that males, who used to be females, are winning gold medals and championships in elite sports? Can you name someone who you suspect used to be a female but won a male sports competition?
Do you believe that people born as males but transition to females should be allowed to compete in sports as long as it’s not elite and not compromising the integrity of the sport?
When it comes to 51st State talk, what is it about Canada that we are afraid of losing or not being able to preserve? Whatever your answer is, why aren’t we making that public so we can rally around something specific?
I would encourage you to comment with some answers, even if you don’t want to reveal your real name.
Wow, lots of good questions! I won’t answer them all, but bottom line this country is so corrupt and screwed up and most people don’t see it or even care! I was blind to most of it before Covid, but the way that was handled opened up my eyes to see a lot of things I wasn’t aware of. Some point form answers to your questions:
- males should play male sports and there is only 2 genders and if you want to be gay, go ahead, but keep it to yourself
- the freedom convoy was one of the best movements this country has ever seen
- tax payer money is being pissed away like never before and there is no accountability and no one cares
- trump isn’t my favourite person, but I would take him any day over our current government. I would be open to Canada being the 51st state. Not saying I would do it, but would be curious about it
- all media is biased in some way. I like x because there is all kinds of information and you can decide what you want to take in
- Canada has a big drug problem, let’s try to tackle it
- the same people supporting Canada now are the same people pushing vaccines, 6ft apart, masks, they are just following whatever the mainstream media tells them to do
- the govt has destroyed more people than it has saved
- paying more in carbon tax won’t save the environment. It’s a money grab and climate change is fake
- I’m ok with MP’s getting paid during this period, but only the ones who didn’t want parliament to be paused. So I guess the libs should be put on leave without pay like they did to all of the federal workers who didn’t take the clot shot
